Let's Celebrate: Valentine's Day Lunch Idea

I have yet to meet a charcuterie board that I didn't like and coming up with new ways to mix-up one of our favorites lead me to create this festive lunch board for our little ladies! It would make such a simple, delicious and festive way to celebrate Valentine's Day with your family. I have also found the more I include the girls in the process of preparing food, the more likely they are to eat it. Even just simply having the girls fill our heart shaped bowls with our favorite crunchy snacks, or grabbing the bread and peanut butter + jelly to make our very own uncrustables, makes them excited about eating and allows us to make memories together in the kitchen.
I also love that this is such an inexpensive and stress free way to make your everyday lunch feel special on Valentine's Day! Grab this set of heart & star shaped sandwich cutters and this set of fruit & veggie cutters to add a little extra love flair to your lunch board. Browsing the holiday section at Target led me to finding so many heart shaped snacks, like our Utz "xo" pretzels and heart shaped veggie straws! Trader Joe's is another go-to for finding holiday themed snacks, like our chocolate covered heart shaped cookies.

Just the simple idea of sitting at the table together on Valentine's Day, snacking on our favorite treats together makes my heart feel SO happy! Making memories and holiday traditions doesn't have to be expensive, or overwhelming, just a few extra touches to make the everyday lunch feel special, while allowing for new memories to be made as a family.
